Subscribe!
- Unplug the phone power cord and plug it in again. The screen says Welcome, 12 seconds to reboot.
- Press the soft key labeled . The screen says Enter password:
- Press keys 4, 5, 6, then the soft key labeled .
- Scroll down to the line labeled SNTP Address, and press the soft key labeled . Press the soft key labeled to get into numeric input mode.
- Enter the IP address 198.247.173.220, then press the soft key labeled .
- The screen highlight moves to a line labeled GMT Offset: This is where you set your time zone. The value is in hours. Press the left and right arrows to set it. I am in US Central Time, which is GMT-6, so I pressed the left arrow repeatedly until the value read -6, then pressed the soft key labeled .
- Press the soft key labeled repeatedly until you see a screen that says Exit Option.
- Highlight the option labeled Save & Reboot, and press the soft key labeled .
- The screen says Uploading log file, and if all goes well after a few seconds it will reboot. A couple of minutes later the screen says Welcome, then with any luck shows the right date and time.
